The program offers an attractive outlook-style interface which is easy to use and multi-lingual. SpyBot allows you to exclude selected cookies, programs or extensions from being reported, allowing you to prevent false positive messages. It can even scan your download directory for files that have been downloaded but not yet installed, allowing you to detect unwanted programs before you even install them. SpyBot produces a detailed and easy to understand report before it deletes any files and allows you to deselect any item that you do not want to be processed. In addition, a recovery feature allows you to restore your settings if needed. Latest versions include live scanning and Immunization Features.   Comments:   Of all the anti-spyware software available we believe this is the one to have. Rich with features, easy to use and does an excellent job. We use this ourselves and have done for several years.

	AVG Anti-Virus (Free Edition)

AVG Free Edition is for private, non-commercial, single home computer use only. Use of AVG Free Edition within any organization or for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.   Comments:   AVG is without doubt one of the best Anti-virus solutions around, the fact that grisoft offer a free version is a bonus! The free version uses the same virus database as the Pro version (therefore offers the same basic protect), which is updated regularly (in 2 years of use we have never gone more than 4 days without an update). It offers comprehensive protection without being obtrusive. The free version is more than adequate for most home users, the few features which are only available on pro versions are hardly missed. Note: The free version will not run on any Server OS. We Highly recommend ALL versions of this product!.

	Kerio WinRoute Firewall
	Category:   Security Version:  6.1.0 License:  Trial DOWNLOAD Visit Site     Description:   Kerio WinRoute Firewall sets new standards in versatility, security and user access control. Designed for corporate networks, it defends against external attacks and viruses and can restrict access to websites based on their content. Features include: Deep inspection firewall, VPN Client & SSL VPN, Antivirus gateway protection, Surf protection, Content filtering, User-specific access management, Fast Internet sharing, VoIP and UPnP support, Administration, alerts and statistics.   Comments:   This is a close to 100% protection as we have found (without disconnecting from the internet entirely) and more features than you can shake a stick at! Easy to administer and a very competent proxy/connection sharing feature. If you find this product a little pricey (it is intendend for company/enterprise use rather than home use), try their Personal Firewall (below).

	Kerio Personal Firewall

Features include: Network security, Privacy protection, Intrusion detection, Application integrity.   Comments:   A 'home user/small network' version of WinRoute firewall, offering the same high standard of protection with a few less features. I'm often asked "is it worth paying for a firewall when I can get one for free?" The answer is YES and if you're looking for a relatively cheap one this is the one to have. FAR superior to 'XP firewall'.
