WARRANTY DETAILS
The length of Warranty is as stated on the Invoice. No item will be accepted as a Warranty Return if the fault is not reported within the time stated. The Warranty agreement starts from the date stated on the invoice.*
All warranties are “Return To Base”. The item must be returned along with the original invoice and an RTN number for initial inspection.
The Warranty is only valid if the Original Invoice is returned with the item.
Agreeing to accept the item for inspection is not validation of the claim. The claim only becomes valid if inspection proves that all of the terms of the warranty are met.
The cost of returning the item for inspection is to be met by the customer and under no circumstances will it be refunded. (if an item is returned for testing and proves not to be faulty you are also liable for return postage costs).
If, after inspection, it is agreed that all of the terms of the warranty are met the item will then be subject to a:
- Repair – All faults covered by the warranty agreement will be fixed at no charge to the customer and the item returned in the same condition accepted by the customer upon first receipt of the item, excluding any faults/damage not covered by the warranty (see warranty exceptions). or
- Replacement – Should parts not be available or the cost of repair prove to be greater than the cost of a replacement the item may be replaced with an identical or newer model with comparable specifications** to the original at no cost to the customer.
Where such a replacement is unavailable a suitable alternative may be provided if accepted by both parties. or
- Refund – In the event that a repair or replacement is not viable then a refund shall be provided. The refund will be for the cost of the item only (as detailed in the warranty agreement) less the decrease in market value since first purchased (calculated at 3% per 30 days).
Under no circumstances shall any other costs (including, but not exclusive to, postage) be refunded.
The terms of the agreement will be considered to have been satisfied if any 1 of the 3 alternatives is offered to the customer and no negotiation has to be accepted.
In the case of a replacement or refund being offered ownership of the original equipment, including any accessories originally supplied, passes back to the seller and the replacement/refund will only be provided once all of the items requested have been returned, inspected and accepted.
The warranty covers only faults to equipment matching the exact description in the Invoice and the cost of return postage after repair or replacement.
If the description given does not match the item you receive exactly it is your responsibility to inform us immediately on receipt of the item, an amendment to the description will then be provided. No amendments will be made if the error is not reported within 3 days of receipt of the item.
The warranty does not cover any item listed in the “warranty exceptions” even if the item is included in the description or referred to elsewhere in this document.
The warranty does not cover any item which is covered by an agreement from a third party (including, but not exclusive to, Manufacturer Warranty or Postal Insurance)
Please read all pages carefully, the complete "Warranty agreement" consists of all pages in this section. The Warranty is subject to change at any time without notice. Changes may or may not be applied to existing Warranty agreements at the discretion of Wizard I.C.T. The Warranty is non-negotiable.
*Where an item is sold as “Working on Delivery (3 Day Warranty)” a reasonable time is also aloud for delivery (i.e. RM 1 st Class – 1 Day, RM Standard Parcel – 5 Days etc)
**Specifications include functionality, features, size and weight but do not include colour. Where a manufacturer considers a specification to be improved or updated it is acceptable as a replacement without negotiation.
